Proposition 8 and Schools

The No on 8 Campaign claims that the passage of Proposition 8 will not require teaching of same-sex "marriage" in public schools. Public schools teach about marriage in their health classes. Ergo, if same-sex "marriage" recognized as marriage in California it will have to be taught in school health classes. And there's already more than enough proof.

Think public schools will have any problem with this? Well, the California Teachers Association gave $1,000,000 to the "No on 8" campaign last week.
And of course a San Francisco First Grade class was taken on a field trip to a lesbian wedding:

That's what the activists are doing NOW! Vote "YES" on Proposition 8!

What do you give gay kids for confirmation presents, you evil old man, razor blades?

Frank,

The most important thing for any child, and any gay child, is having a mother and father there for him, and there for each other, as he grows up.

When the court redefined what is family, they removed marriage from this procreative/nurturing process. They saw marriage mainly as a "choice" between two adults. This is a very superficial view of what marriage is and should trouble any person, gay or straight, who is concerned about the well-being of society.

If you really care about the well-being of children, including gay children, as I believe you do, you should be voting "Yes" on Proposition 8. Natural marriage benefits everyone, gay and straight alike. It must be strengthened, not weakened.
