These guys will never quit, so, unless we are willing to spend the the rest of our lives fighting to defend marriage (which most of us can't and shouldn't do--we have other committments) they might very well win. <BR/><BR/>Look at Massachusetts: 170,000 citizrns signed a petition to have an amendment put on the ballot defining marriage as between a man and a woman. And, because of the intense lobbying on the other side, the amendment was not even allowed to be put on the ballot. The legislators would not allow the people to have a say.
