I greatly adm...I might need some help on this one. I greatly admire Bishop Jenky (I wish he were our Ordinary instead of the milquetoast we have) but he wrote something that startled me a little bit.<br /><br />It has always been my understanding that when Pilate stated "Behold your King" he was not speaking sarcastically, as Bishop Jenky writes, but rather with a combined sense of hopelessness, fear and utter contempt for the crowds calling for Our Lord's blood. Considering the whole dialog between Our Lord and Pilate, and how each addressed each other, it would seem somewhat out of character for Pilate to suddenly sink to sarcasm at this moment.<br /><br />Can someone correct me here, if necessary?
