Jesuit Schools Pack List of Most Expensive Colleges

Today the San Francisco Chronicle linked to CNN article compiling a list of the 10 least affordable U. S. colleges, ranked by net price for the 2008-2009 academic year. The list only included schools with undergraduate enrollments of +5,000.

Four of the 10 are Jesuit schools:

#2) Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif. Net price: $35,245 Tuition: $34,950

#3) Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pa. Net price: $34,548 Tuition: $32,860

#6) Fordham University, New York, N.Y. Net price: $31,916 Tuition: $35,257

#9) Saint Louis University-Main Campus, St. Louis, Mo. Net price: $31,255 Tuition: $30,728

Blessed are the poor....for they shall not suffer a Jesuit education.
