We're back to where we were a few days ago with Komen.
But the light of truth has shone upon that organization, upon Planned Parenthood, and their allies in the culture of death--the Democratic Party. More than 20 Senators, all members of the Democratic Party, wrote to Komen, protesting their plan to cut off funding to the abortion business.
But it's still a good sign. If you have to lose a battle, it is a lot better to lose it on the enemy's turf than on your own.

This was just posted by Mark Steyn over on the National Review Corner blog; brilliantly succinct, in typical Steyn fashion:
"Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms [me: by their own admission]. They refer you to someone who’ll give you a mammogram if they think you need one. So what they provide is breast exams in which someone feels the breast for lumps.
"According to Planned Parenthood, Komen’s gift to the organization provided 170,000 such exams over five years – or 34,000 per annum. In 2011, Komen gave Planned Parenthood $680,000 – which works out to $20,000 per breast exam. Or at least one hundred times as much as a breast exam would cost under even the most generous estimation. So Komen’s donors – all those “Race for the Cure” supporters – gave 680 grand and got about $6,000′s worth of breast screening.
"Where did the other $675,000 go?
"Komen’s supporters give money in order to prevent and cure breast cancer. Are they aware that in this case 99 per cent of funds went to something else entirely?
[Me: add to that the fact that abortion has been unequivocably proven to increase the likelihood of breast cancer, and one really has to wonder what the true agenda is at Komen.]
