"Exposing the Schlock Social Science on Gay Parenting"

Ed Whelan discusses the two new studies which reveal, duh, that children do better with a mother and father:

"As Regnerus sums it up, his study 'clearly reveals that children appear most apt to succeed well as adults—on multiple counts and across a variety of domains—when they spend their entire childhood with their married mother and father, and especially when the parents remain married to the present day.'”

It is a mark of the lack of common sense in our culture that such a thing even needs to be said. As Bishop Salvatore Cordileone said in the "Marriage Matters to Kids" video:

"Children need a mother and father...children  long for a mother and a father when they don't have them...By virtue of biology, it takes a man and a woman to bring a child into the world...it's a logical consistency of design that a child needs a mother and father to grow up in the best possible context."
