Back on January 24, we reported on the disgusting legal argument being made by an attorney for Catholic Healthcare Initiatives in Coloardo, that unborn persons were not persons.
Now, at the urging of the Colorado Catholic bishops, the hospital chain has abandoned this argument, which was being made on their behalf in the Stodgehill case.
I'm not at all familiar with legal procedures, so I wonder if it is normal or acceptable practice for an attorney to make such an argument without the OK of his client.
In any event, thank heaven this development. May the case reach a speedy and just conclusion.
