9:50 PST: 52.74-47.26 with 86% of the precincts reporting. A 5+ margin of victory for the defenders of marriage in Maine despite being outspent $4,000,000 to $2,500,000.
9:41 PST: 52.57-47.43%. I think the race is over. Victory!
9:29 PST: 52.39-47.61%. 82% of precincts have reported. The margin is nearly 23,000 votes. It is starting to look like a win for marriage.
9:23: 52.44-47.56. 80% reporting. Margin is 22,000.
9:16 52.41-47.59. Margin is 22,000. 79% of precincts have reported.
9:13 PST: Back up. 52.34-47.66%. The lead is about 21,000 votes. Even 100, 000 absentees will be hard put to beat that margin if it stays like this.
9:06 PST. Slight drop. Now 52.11-47.89%. 76% reporting.
9:03 PST: Still better. Question 1 passes 52%. It's now 52.13-47.87% with 75% reporting.
9:00 PST. Still better. 51.99-48.01.% 75% reporting.
8:59: Getting better. 51.93-48.07%. 74% reporting.
8:56: Now 51.86-48.14%. 73% reporting.
8:49: Now 51.83-48.17%. 70% reporting.
8:44: Now 51.81-48.19. 68% reporting.

UPDATE 8:39 PST: Biggest lead for Question 1 so far: 51.75-48.25% with 66% of precincts reporting.
UPDATE 8:32 PST: Question 1's lead falls a little. With 65% of precincts reporting it's now 51.54-48.46%.
UPDATE 8:22 PST: 60% reported. Lead extends to 51.58-48.42%.
UPDATE: 8:18 PST: 58% of precincts have reported. Question 1 now leads by 51.29 to 48.71%
It's a nail-biter. With 51% of the precincts reporting, Question 1 leads by 50.31 to 49.69%. Not bad for being outspent nearly 2 to 1!
